What to Expect

Before the Groom

When you are given an appointment, it is an appointment window.

Due to the nature of mobile grooming, there may be delays due to road issues. Therefore, please allow for a 1 hour time of arrival from your original appointment time. You will be notified if the timing goes 1 hour over the original appointment.

If your dog’s appointment is around feeding time, please feed and walk them at least 2 hours prior or after their appointment. Full bladders or colons will make an uncomfortable experience for you pup.

If you have not signed the client grooming agreement at the time of booking, you will be required to sign on arrival for the first grooming. If you have not texted/emailed a photo copy of the rabies, it will be required to be shown in person before grooming.

Please do not fuss over pups when dropping off. Act as if you were dropping your child off during their first day of school, it will help the pups understand nothing “scary” will happen.

During the FIRST grooming appointment, owner is required to be present at home. If primary contact is unavailable, please have another trusted contact to provide instructions for the groom.

During intake, please inform groomer of any known allergies or behavioral issues. Dog will be evaluated for pests, mats (tangles) and debris on coat. During this step of the process we will give a quote for all things visibly measurable, whereas behavior such as aggression or high anxiety will not be included until exhibited during the groom.

After initial evaluation, we will confirm price with owner or trusted contact to go forward with the agreed upon services.

During the Groom

Your furry family member will be treated with 100% focus and attention.

Your pup comes first and will be treated with respect, care, and will be constantly assessed to make sure they are completely comfortable throughout the process. If at any point in time the groom becomes a danger to the dog or myself, then I will call the owner immediately if the issue remains unresolved.

In a quiet setting free of distractions, your pup will be treated to a warm massaging bath. Afterwards, they will be conditioned, rinsed, and rubbed down with a soft warm towel. The van contains a high velocity dryer and a low sound dryer meant for high anxiety dogs.

Groomer will not rush the process as every dog has different needs. Groomer will focus on safety and comfort throughout the whole experience.

After the Groom

We will return dog to owner/house.

We will then discuss with owner what type of regime or training dog may need at home to improve behaviors or coat.

Payment is due at the end of service.

We suggest to reschedule within a 4-6 week period to optimize pet coat health.
