How soon should I make an appointment?
Start planning on making an appointment as soon as your pup receives all three puppy shots and their rabies. Puppies will then be slowly introduced into the grooming services. Some puppies cannot handle the full groom, so we suggest a la carte services first before Bathing or Haircut services.
Please fill out the intake form and you will be texted when your form has been received. When you are ready to schedule, I will let you know when I plan on being out to your area and provide you some available time slots. Reservations are on a first come, first serve basis, so please reply as soon as possible.
What type of dogs do not qualify for Lucky Pup Pop Up’s Full Grooming services? (Haircut? or Bath?)

- Dogs over 60 lbs.
- Severely matted/tangled dogs. If you are unsure, we would be happy to assess the condition of the coat before starting services.
- Standard sized Doodles/Poodles (Over 30 pounds and 14” in height.)
- Severely anxious/aggressive dogs. (If you are unsure, we will come to assess.)
- Triple Coated Breeds (newfoundland, malamutes, etc…)
- Dogs on blood thinning medications.
What happens during an incomplete service? Or why is my service incomplete?
- Your dog’s health is of utmost importance to me. We will halt services if any significant health event is suspected.
- If pests such as fleas, worms, or ticks are present on the dog, services will stop and groomer will inform the owners.
- If the groom is unable to be completed in full, a minimum charge for arriving along with a pro-rated charge for services rendered will be assessed.
How will payment be collected? How can I pay?
- Payment is due at time of service. Lucky Pup Pop Up accepts cash, checks, and all major credit cards.
- We accept Apple Pay and Zelle.
- We do not accept Samsung Pay, Google Pay, or Android Pay.
- We do not accept Venmo or CashApp.
- Returned checks will incur a $35 fee, plus any fee our bank will charge. No further services will be scheduled until the fee is paid.
What is Lucky Pup Pop Up’s cancelation policy?
- We require clients to please cancel appointments AT LEAST 48 hours before their scheduled appointments.
- Failure to call, text, or email notice 48 hours before your appointment or failure to have your pet available at the scheduled time, including “no shows” can result in a $50 charge on future appointments.
- First time clients that are a no show when groomer arrives for scheduled appointment may not be allowed to schedule any future appointments.
- We value your time and ask that you value ours. Though we understand life is not always predictable, we attempt to schedule ample time to account for unforeseen circumstances to deliver the highest level of care to your pup. Last minute cancellations and lack of punctuality severely impact our ability to serve you properly.

Do you require dogs to be vaccinated?
- We require a current rabies vaccination expiration date before any grooming services will be performed. Proof of Rabies Vaccination shall be provided to Lucky Pup Pop Up upon request as well as current veterinarian information. Puppies must also have their 3 sets of puppy shots.
Will you accept dogs with health conditions and senior dogs? Which dogs qualify for the super senior discount?
- Grooming procedures can be very stressful, especially for senior pets or a pet with health problems. These pets will be groomed for cleanliness and comfort, in styles that will not add to their stress.
- Pets on blood thinning medications will not be accepted.
- Super Senior dog discounts are given to dogs who have been bathed at home. These pups have serious health problems or super aggressive tendencies and need owner to be present. It is a 30 minute session only. Groom is tailored to dog’s comfort level.
Do you accept pets with fleas and ticks?
- Flea and tick infestations will not be tolerated.
- If a flea or tick is found on your pet, Lucky Pup Pop Up will inform owner and must have client reschedule until the problems are resolved.
- If an infestation is found post groom, an additional $75 debug cleaning fee will be added to the original grooming service.
What is required of me, the client?
- All the groomer needs is a curbside or place to legally park during the time of service.
- Services can be done on uneven ground, however flat surfaces are preferable.
- If primary contact is unavailable, please have another trusted contact to provide instructions for the groom.
- Please understand that first time grooms or clients on an irregular schedule cannot be given accurate over the phone pricing. Final Price is determined on dog size, current condition of the coat, and temperament such as aggression or high anxiety. These factors can only be determined in the physical presence of your pup. First time clients will not be charged in the event that final pricing is unagreeable before services are rendered.
